Gen5 12V power outlet

I have a 2002 Camry. When I insert a 12V car charger into my 12V power outlet and then remove it, the metal socket from the 12V power outlet gets pulled halfway out as well. How do I fix this? This is the 12V outlet that is in plain view.

the clips obviously dont hold it in anymore so if it really bugs you that much, put on 1 drop of crazy glue to where it holds onto the clip. or, go from behind it ad strap it down so it cant move.

I belive it twists out. With the outlet off, push it in and give it a twist to lock it back in.
