4th Generation need advice please!!

it's really bug me plus worry about my car right now because everytime i accelerate hard/gunned it the e-brake/hand brake light is come on and after i slow it down the light is gone.i don't see the CEL come on so i really don't know what is going on.is any e-brake fluid need to be refill or something going on with ignition/wires or i really don't know
help really apreciated.thank you guys.

I advise you to lift the hood and check the brake fluid. Trying the forum search tool would be advised as well.

Yeah, check the brake fluid level. In camrys (at least 97-01) the sensor is extremely sensitive and the light will go on if the level is even a bit low. Fill it to the all the way full mark and it should solve your problem.

its just regular brake fluid, the car's manual should say what type is reccomended. Or you can ask someone at the parts store. Filling brake fluid is pretty easy, just pop the top of the container labled "brake fluid reservor" or something like that and fill to the line. My cressida's light would come on like that when the fluid was low.

My hand brake light also came on and off but the problem was a sticking hand brake cable.
Since the hand brake cables are in the middle under the car I couldn't fix it. I had
a mechanic lubricated the brake cables and the light has never come back.

i went o autozone and got the preston dot 3 brake fluid and i just refill it and accelarate the car and the hand brake light never come on anymore.yessss i am so happy now.
i really apreciated for the help guys.toyotanation rule!!!!
