When my Gen3 Camry is warmed up and the RPM is idling at about 800 the oil pressure light flickers. Everytime I check the oil it always has plenty. The car's owners manual states that it is normal for it to flicker after you have been driving for a while or after hard braking (I'm pretty sure that's what it said, I'll look later today for the exact wording). Does anyone else have this issue, know the cause, or have any advice about it? No matter what the manuel may say, I would really prefer not to see it flicker all the time. (It doesn't do it when the engine is warm, like driving across town to work, it's when it's hot, like driving 20-30 miles, or idling for 30min-1 hour)
I don't mean to piss anbody off, but please, no posts recommending pulling the dash bulb or placing tape over it .
Thanks...
