Bumpy Clutch pedal travel.
Ever since I had the clutch replaced, it's been there somewhat, Geting a littl better though, but still there and it's annoying.
Pressing and releasing clutch pedal feel "bumpy" as in not smooth, like the pedal chases my foot while tripping over things... I get this feel when the engine's reving anywhere above 1k rpm, the higher the rougher.
If I just hold the pedal there (anywhere along the stroke ), it's fine, no vibration.
Once in a while, problem disappears, or so much better that I don't notice.
I'm thinking one of the cylinders.
when I'm sitting in the car with the engine off and everything's obsolutely quiet, I can hear a small whining noise when I first press on the pedal, so small that I can't hear anything if it's parked on a street with traffic.
So if it's the cylinder, which cylinder could it be? Considering it's RPM related and only came up after the clutch change, I'm thinking the slave cylinder. ( you know how the push rod kinda goes into the piston as clutch wears, so now it's out again, and it's rubbing against rusted surface ). But the whinning noise seems to be coming from insdie the car, totally not related?
Everything else is normal, no throw out bearing noise.. not chattering, and also, when the clutch is smooth, the engine sounds much better too.
