I have a '99 L4 Camry and it seem the air/ fuel ratio sensor (California) needs replacement.
Its original number is 89467 33010 but some say it has been replaced by 89467 33011.
Can you guys confirm or deny this statement?
Also, Where can I find the replacement, OEM or aftermarket, cheaper than the $257 the Toyota dealer asks for?
Thank you all for your help.
Sorry I missed the 9 twice and didn't see it.

Did you check engine light come on? You say it SEEMS the air/fuel sensor needs to be replaced. What makes you think it needs to be replaced?
I replaced my not to long ago because the Check Engine light came on. Took it to the dealer and found the sensor was faulty. Replaced it and the check engine light went away.

the engine light was on. I took off the sensor and it had a partial, irregular white cover that suggested the zirconia they talk about and which was apparently worn out.
The codes were P0171: System too lean (bank 1) and P1133: air/fuel sensor circuit respnose malfunction.
No. ONly California cars have the A/F ratio sensor. All other American states have an O2 sensor as far as I know. It is the one in front of the engine. In the Exhaust. You see it immediately when you lift the hood. I have not seen a V6 engine.
Put in your old part number, then check it with the new number.
Thank you Csaxon.
Please clarify: This is an A/F ratio sensor and can not be replaced by an o2 sensor. Is this right?
Also: It is California as opposed to Federal and is in the front ( closest to the bumper).
Correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you.
Did you replace the Air Fuel Ratio Sensor by yourself? I too have a california Car with bad sensor. I came to know when I took it to car dealer to check the OBD II on Check Engine Light. Can you please let know the correct part number, where to find the sensor and how to replace it?
