Lightbulb Cheap Y-pipe

Just went to Budget Performance (http://www.budgetexhaust.com) and talked to the owner Jeff. Had a chat with him about the possibility of making headers/y-pipe for the Camrys.

He said that if he's going to make the y-pipe it'll cost around $250+/- CDN each (without cat) which is roughly $160USD.

As for the headers he said the shop is quite busy in the coming weeks but if he has the time (and perhaps someone can donate the manifolds) he'll definitely give it a try.

Just passing the words to those who are interested.

I also told him about this site so he'll probably be checking it out.

They recently did a y-pipe (they call it f-pipe) groupbuy for Maxima.org.

You can do a search over there and see their feedback.

Me too, i would also like to get some headers. I will have to see what others thought about the quality but keep us informed.

Well that $400US they're charging is a full 4-2-1 header and that means it runs from the engine to the cat. It's not an unreasonable price to ask for IMO.

Nobody is going to get another set of 5S-FE header developed since there's one available.

Damn...I checked up on their reviews. Most of them are more than happy with their f-pipes. After reading some more, the cheap price, good performance, and praise by their members got me all riled up to get one. And then,

CARB certification sucks.

Fortunately, up here in Ory-gun, we don't have lame laws like that.. yet.
