4th Generation How the heck do you REassemble struts/springs (autozone spring compressors)

I rented the autozone spring compressors for my strut install, but I can't get the damn springs compressed enough to put the uppear seat, mount, and nut back on.

I'm using new kyb br-2 shocks and the stock coil springs.

Seems like the autozone compressors aren't long enough...is there a trick to the placement of these things ?
thanks all

I actually toyed with that idea, but then I thought it has to be possible with just one set.

looks like I'll have to pick up the other set if they have one. Did you use 4 compressors on the same spring, or did you use 3?

Whatdo they look like.. I used them.. I had one where it's 2 hooks with a long rod and a bolt(A pair of this assembly..) Hook both on either side and tighten up...(4 way lug wrench thingy made it go quick)

Take a pic... maybe I (or we) can help you

That sounds like the same pair I have....Did you use them on the stock springs? I've heard people have no problems using lowering springs due to their shorter length, but the OEM springs are a bitch.

heres a pic of them from the autozone website:
