Question regarding strut mounts

I have been experiencing an annoying thumping sound when going over bumps for over a year now and I have finally decided to fix it. The stealership says that replacing the strut mounts will eliminate the noise. They want a ridiculous price to do this so I am going to take it to a local mechanic. I'd like to use factory parts (unless there is a better alternative). Does anyone know what the Toyota part number is for the strut mounts? The stealership mentioned that I needed to replace the strut mounts only. Wouldn't it make sense to go ahead and replace the struts too? I only have 72,000 miles on the car. It is a 1998 LE 4 cyl.

You can find the strut mounts on eBay for about $20 each.

No you cant find them on ebay for $20 apice...

But go on ebay, look for "97 camry strut mount" (97 will fit a 98) and get the KYB ones. I have them, cost me $95 shipped for both and they work fine
