3rd Generation Custom CAI Idea

So I am debating on how to build a custom CAI. There are two good DIY threads on this forum but neither of them did it the way I would like to do it. I want to have my Air Filter cone looking almost right through that side hole on the bottom bumper. With the right piping can anyone tell me if thats passible? and if so does anyone see any potential problems with that.

2ed question: Has anyone heard of a mod called: Throttle body coolant bypass ? This guy cliams it works: http://www.ultimateresourceguides.co...-freemods.html (its the very last idea on that page).
Any thoughts?

for the intake you wanna do you just have to have the pipes bent somewhere, and find rubber couplings to hold them together.

^ Or use pre-bent piping (mandrel bent). Cut it up to get the pieces you need, then put it together (use couplers or weld + couplers).

Throttle body coolant bypass has been discussed. The easiet way to do the mod, is disconnect the 2 coolant hoses on the bottom of the throttle body and connect them together with a hose barb and clamps.
