How to Change Alternator Belt?

Hey guys i did a search for alternator belt change and i couldnt find anything about it so has anyone here done it before?I have a 96 Camry I4 and the belt that is hooked up to the alternator is ripped in half down the middle and ready to break so im about to change this belt any input as to how difficult this may be?My Friend told me pretty much just to loosen up the alternator to take off the belt and put on the new belt but i dunno know it just sounds to easy.Any advice Thanks

1) Loosen tentioner bolt
2) Slip old belt off
3) Slip new belt on
4) Tighten tentioner bolt

^ its just that easy. check out your power steering belt as well while youre down there.

Before loosening the tension bolt, you have to first loosen the lock bolt. That's the horizontal one that screws in to the assembly, facing the passenger side fender. Then loosen the tension bolt. Installation is the reverse. This job should take no more than 5 minutes.

Thanks for the help guys it was just pretty much straight forward and losening both nuts on the alternator and taking of the belt and putting the new one on.Thanks again guys
