Non VVTi block is different too.
The VVTi moves with oil pressure.
Swap whole engine.

hey could be getting at doing a "frankenstien" swap. Example, in hondas you take a 2.3 liter non vtec bottom end, and mate it with a 2.2 liter Vtec top end. The final product has the Torque of the non vtec and the Horsepower of the vtec. Hence, LS/VTEC conversion. For all the honda haters out there, its badass!!!!

Just go with a 3MZ swap. It'll blow the 1mz vvti or not in HP/TQ.

I thought "LS/Vtec" referred to the B18 non-Vtec head made into a Vtec head. LS as in the Intergra LS with the non-Vtec B18.

I hate Honda but if I had to get one, It'd be an NSX Second from that.. Probably a nice F22C with ITB and some nice Skunk2 cames with a VAFC controller.

LS/VTEC = LS bottom-end, VTEC head. It could be a B18C1 head or a B16A/B18C5 head.

You'd have nothing that could control the VVTi circuit even if you made a custom oil feed. Unless you swap the ECU, but nothing would plug into each other due to different years/harness/pinouts. All that work for pretty much nothing.
