Question 3000 RPM stutter

Whats up guys, I got a problem with my 93 camry v6. Around 2 weeks ago, I noticed my car sputtering, popping, stuttering, whatever you want to call it at 3000rpm, only at 3000 rpm, before or beyond there was nothing. Well sometimes at idle you would randomly hear the popping for a second or two other than that it was very noticable at a constant 3000 rpm. Also note that a day before I noticed the poppin, I had my spark plugs changed and fuel filter changed. I checked my spark plugs and wires, they seem fine to me. I doubt its my fuel filter because my fuel pressure gauge is at a constant 40psi even when I rev it to the 3000 rpm line and beyond. And it cant be my fuel pump because I changed it to a walbro 190lph about a month ago. Any input would help with this matter, cuz my mind is boggled about this at this point.

*Problem: Car doesnt run right. Question: What changed between good and bad running? Answer: Spark plugs and fuel filter. When you say you checked the plugs, does that mean you checked the parts number? Sounds like the shop may have put the wrong plugs in to me. Remove one and call the auto parts and check the part number.

*Another possibility is that the shop removed a vacuum hose or wire or something, and forgot to reconnect it.

*Also it sounds like the ignition timing should be checked too. From your description i think theres a good chance it could need adjusting.

*Also it wouldnt hurt to clean the throttle body and IAC, which you can easily do yourself. Probably not the cause of the problem but could be making it worse. Theres a lot of posts on this subject here so i wont describe it again

I read all those posts to figure out my problem, but all of them dealt with a range of rpms, mine is just misfiring at one. I bought the spark plug, theyre specifically used in my nitrous setup. They are colder plugs so that I dont detonate, do you think thats the problem?

nitrious? high pressure fuel pump? specially designed spark plugs and wires? bet ya its not a stock fuel filter?

What about your computer? is that stock, caz running all that jazz is going to freak out your ECU something shockin.

Take out each part you put in, replace it with stock one at a time until the problem goes away.

thats what my mechanic told me to do also, but thats a lot to take out and replace again. What do you people think, is it the colder spark plugs im using or do you think the fuel filter is malfunctioning, and if the fuel filter was busted wouldnt it affect my fuel pressure?

depends where you are measuring pressure. before or after the fuel filter? I would start with the filter first and then the pump. Why are you using a high pressure pump on a stock intake? are you planning to turbo/sc?

It's after the fuel filter, between the fuel filter and the fuel rail. I have a high pressure pump because when I shoot 75hp in my car I want to make sure that the fuel pump is able to handle the fuel required by the car to not run lean.

does it stutter when you use nitrious?

you maight be best taking it down to a performance shop and have them check it over. stuuter is caused by two things - lack of fuel or lack of spark. Maybe change the spark plugs back and see what happens.

Its barely noticable during nitrous use, but I'm assuming its still there since it only occurs at 3000 RPM. I'm also assuming its the spark plugs, which are probably gapped incorrectly. Thanks for the help.
