So what do you all think about Toyota having the new 07 Camry in the 2007 NASCAR series?
Personaly I've never been that into NASCAR but now that our beloved Camry is gonna be in it I'm thinking I might become a slight NASCAR fan... but we'll see how that turns out.
You should have seen the looks I got with my Blue Ribbon SE V6 in the infield of Richmond International Raceway on Thursday before the race. I was in the Sprint/Nextel Boradcast area, and right next to the infield tunnel exit. It was funny. Many looks of "Nice car, what is it" Or "Is that foreign?"
I'm not a fan of Nascar either, but it is fun to be in the infield for such an event. It is the atmostphere of excitement.

I personally think that Nascar is incredibly boring, I much prefer WRC, F1, DTM etc, but I do think that if Toyota gets a good driver and starts winning, it will be good. All those people who keep the big 3 afloat are probably the ones that watch nascar and have never driven a Japanese car, will see the car winning and maybe want to try a real toyota. It shouldn't be too much trouble for toyota to win, their engineers seem to be lightyears ahead in every other thing.
I'm currently watching the NASCAR race in Darlington SC on FX. I have the sounds threw my Amp. The in car radio on the computer....and I'm excited...NOT bored!.....ya don't realize what your missing!!....NASCAR rules

You live close enough to the south, that you can qualify as one.
I don't see anything cool about nascar, they drive around a oval track and only turn left.
Close?? Richmond Va was the capital of the South...The White House is still here!
"Drive around an oval track an only turn left" ...they do for hours at time, and at very high speeds..in very rough riding, very hot, less than aerodynamic cars, that don't handle like go carts....I couldn't do it!...wish I could tho!
Last nites race in Darlington SC took 3 hrs 42 mins 36 seconds, ave speed with 6 cautions was 135.127mph....and the race was sold out!
Yea! I'm a redneck ...nothing wrong with that .....note: I never listen to Country music!!
You need to attend a race, if you haven't, and if you have you need to go with someone else!...it really is cool!

ive been to four races and i say booo if you like being surrounded by billies with "3"s shaved in the back hair who are completely wasted spilling beer everywhere, have on average half the teeth of a normal human being, and are all covered in bad tattoos, cigarette smoke and dale earnhardt junior merchandise, then nascar is the racing event for you!!!
