2nd Generation Project V.I.P. almost done

Well Im sooo glad I got out of my "race car" phase with my car. After miraculously finding out about the VIP style of the auto lifestyle im redoing the camry. Its already has intrax, a semi new black paint job with 17" verde diamonds (chrome) and now tomorrow I will have chrome door handles! The only things that remain are:

chrome grill

wood steering wheel

blackout all the tail lights and red markers and signal lenses.

clean up the interior.

If you guys can think if any other VIP style mods I can do please let me know.

I just want it to be a semi luxury car that is VIP styled NOT REAL VIP cause I know people

like to argue about what "VIP" really is. I'll get pics up in a while.

If you really wanted to a VIP style theme on your car, I would recommend putting some fender flares on your car. Get some deep dish wheels with the correct offsets. Keep the paint job simple like black or white. Leather out the interior with a touch of wood grain. Lastly, get airbag suspension. Thats my .02 cents

This was my attempt at the VIP style look but In the end, the car turned out leaning more toward the Tuner Look....

VIP style eh?

sell the camry and buy a lexus. if you are going to do it, then do it properly. you will more than likely have steering and suspension issues if you put huge wheels that require fender flares. i did. and definately go black with leather and wood grain. stacks of chrome and a huge entertainment system - dont forget the sound deadening on every panel you can find and replace all the suspension bushes.

but good luck with it dude. post up some progess pics.

2nd Generation

I got all the handles on today and they look good (imo). Pics should go up tomorrow. BTW, what is the deepest rim I can go with while maintaining a 38 offset?

Suggestion

Im not big into the style but from what I've seen you want to find a bodykit that extends the original body lines and not add new lines or angles. Also you want to go with black paint and a nice black tint, I guess real VIP also add black curtains to the rear windows. Go with a 17 or 18" chrome wheel with a deep lip and lower the car as well. The only chrome should be on the wheels. Remove as many emblems as you can and the ones you leave on should match the black paint from the rest of the car. Jon.
