The Camry is officially for sale because I'm looking to buy a newer 2000+ used car. I MIGHT stay in the Toyota family if I can sell my car before they sell the 2000 Celica GTS I'm looking at. Anyways, I took these pics today after giving it a little wash and putting on the "For Sale" sign.
As you can see, the front didn't really settle much, and it's a noticeable uneven drop.
I'll be sad as hell, my first car and the first car I've done any mods to. I learned a lot of stuff with this car, and I'd love to take it further, but it's going to cost me soooo much money to do it. Plus, it already has 221k+ miles on it.
I kinda feel that I'm going to end up keeping it until the wheels fall off because it's going to be hard to sell it, mostly due to the mileage on it.
Haha yes, right now I think it's already at 222,000 miles.
I was feeling pretty sad about what you just said, BUT I got some good news today.
A friend of mine took his 1993 Montero to this dealership to see how much he'd get in trade in. The Montero had 227,000 miles on it, the interiors were all messed up, it had been in an accident and wasn't fixed, the paint was starting to fade, and I don't know how the dealer gave them $3,500 for it.
I'm going there tomorrow, I'm thinking I could probably get $4,000 for my Camry. I mean, it's a Toyota, it has less miles than the Montero, it's by far in better condition than the Montero, plus it's a 4 cyl. car and most people these days are looking to buy cars that will save them some gas money.
Sorry about what I said. But my car has 150K miles and I don't think I could get $3000 for it. Perhaps in Puerto Rico its different. Your car does look nice. Good luck and stay with Toyota.
Sorry to hear you have to sell. Good luck with the sale. (and good luck getting the celica)
btw, is that how the ksport 1.8 drop with the kyb looks? I was thinking about going that route.
One more thing, did you have to roll your fenders? Curious about that. Take it easy.
I think you could sell it for about 3500m I sold my 94 with 195k in one day in the autotrader. Was in the magazine only a day when I sold it for 2400. I know I coulda sold it for more, but I just needed to get rid of it. So I think 3000 to 3500 is easy to get!!
