Discount??

The 07 Camry I'm looking at has around 75 miles due to it being used for test-drives. Is the car now considered to be demo model and should I get a discount since the car is not brand new anymore?

I doubt it. I bought mine with 412 miles on it. It was a Dealer Swap. I ended up with a pretty decent deal...never did the word Demo come up though...

Can't hurt to try....

In the state of Illinois, a car is considered new as long as it has never been titled. That means a demo is still considered a new car. In my opinion, 75 miles would not make a car considered a demo. Several thousand miles or more would make it a demo. I would, however, stay away from demos. You can negotiate just as good a deal on a brand new car on most models. Remember, even brand new cars will have about 10-15 miles on them.

Thanks...

I paid 20K for it. It was stickered at 22.2K. Nothing really special about mine. It does have a Moonroof though...

How do you know it has been used for test drives? did the dealer tell you? I would try for a discount, remember people give cars a floggin when they test drive them.

not good for engines that are not run in.
