Camry 99

n morning I turn on car I hit gas, but ccar doesn't have any power. I hit gas all way down its still not moving fast. Can anybody here tell me problem??? MY freind said it is a sensor that happens to like all camry is it true?

^^ Not true.
For problem starting your car: get your throttle body cleaned and EFI service done.

For not having enough power: its could be anything, we need more details.

But from what you describe, how have you maintained you car?

I maintained it best I can. Well actually it was mechanic said that was problem. bc some toher lady had same problem. I need to wait like until car warms up so I can have full power

The engine being sluggish when its cold is normal.

The tranny also does not shift into overdrive (4th gear) until the engine reaches a certain temp.

Are you describing the traction control cutting the fuel?

I have an 00 which has tractrion control. I hope you are not redlining the engine right away.

The other possibilities are low oil pressure, or knock.
