3vzfe exhaust

Well my 3vz is going back in my MR2 after deciding not to go twin turbo anymore my old exhaust has been stored. I now need to decide on what Im doing for the NA exhaust. Ive modified some ebay V6 accord headers to fit it. Not the best design...but fucking better then stock none the less. After the collectors its 2" and merges into a 2.25" y pipe. I know 2.25" is what stock was, Im tempted to open it up to 2.5". My hardest problem is deciding the exit of it all, the mufflers! My old NA 5sfe setup was a dual canister 2.25". Im so tempted to put it back on but the area of two 2.25" pipes is much larger then the area of 2.5". On the NA is still showed an improvement of about 4 horsepower over stock and a couple horsepower over the greddy SP system for the MR2.

What do you guys think I should do

Yea a dual canister on the 3vz would be soooo sexy! All the sound to match the power. Also it would give it a nice look i like the setup in the pic. Oh and i don't think 2.5 would make a difference in the 3vz, i'd say stick with the 2.25, but then again if there is going to be major curves and bends in the piping then maybe 2.5 is is the way to go.

Actually thinking about it the only area between the y pipes would be over the crossmember, Im tempted to run the pipes up further and have an x pipe there.
