Lost a '92 with 156k and a '93 with close to 100k to semi's. Have a '92 with 238k and it still runs fine. Probably keep it, the '01 (64K) and the '91 truck (200k) 'til they die or get totaled, which ever comes first. (Probably would not pay to rebuild or replace an engine or autotranny after 100k.)
Yea i got 300,000+ kilometers and im going to keep driving it until it dies, but now its basically tuning into a beater . I got rust forming everywhere scrathes, dents, strange engine sounds, foggy lights and a shit load of other stuff that bugs me. But i'l drive it into the ground.
Until the wheels fall off, glass breaks, engine stops, suspension creeks, seats get harder, radio stops, a/c fails, front lights go out, ceiling caves in, until i die!!!(it will come to heaven with me)
I gotta get myself together, cuz I got someplace to go
And I'm praying when I get there, I see everyone I know
I wanna go to heaven, I wanna go to heaven, said I wanna go to heaven, I wanna go to heaven, do you wanna
Go?

I will NEVER get rid of my car. I will eventually buy a different car but this one will always be around. I have been through too much with this car. I have put my blood, sweat and tears into getting where it is today and it will only get better.
Bought the car for a ridiculous price at 244 000 kilometers, was running okay, couple thousand bucks every 2-3 months later made it run fantastic. It really didn't need all this money put on it, but I want this car to run flawless and I'm on my way there, so I'll finish off with bodywork and slight esthetics modding.
Then I'll drive it/maintain it until it's fucking dead.

^Same! purchased with 100k mi and now has 140,000 mi. Am currently replacing all suspension bushes and making it run perfect cuz I want to keep for 5 or 6 years yet. i had the top of the engine off a while ago and my mechanic was surprised how clean the engine internals were for its age. worth keeping I want to see how long it lasts. should have over 300k mi when Im finished with it.
I do an oil change every 3000 mi, oil comes out real clean, only a few shades darker than new. I love toyotas!

planning to keep it until i graduate college, but i'm not sure if after college im gonna spend more money on the car, or move on to another car.....but modding a camry is unique so my 1st choice would be to keep it as long as possible
'rents offered to buy me a new car, but I figured it was cheaper to just keep this one. It needs to last me another 5 years as I go through graduate school.
