You don't really have much of an option here. If TRD doesn't have any numbers for you, then just hand tighten it and use your best judgment. Well I guess your other option is to not tighten it at all...

I would guess whatever the torque value is for the upper strut mount nuts would be what you're looking for. Checking the repair manual that one our brothers linked us to states that the value would be 59 ft-lbs. Hope that helps.

lol, just kidding bro, take it easy.

I'm just saying, tighten it if they don't specify anything. At least you know its on tight. IF no figures are given, just tighten them tight its snug, then give it a 1/4 twist. good luck

I believe the strut mount bolts are 50-60 lb ft. They are 14mm and you will need a deep socket IIRC.

Just tighten them as far as you can take them. I did this with my 92 and when I get the bar for the 03 I'll be doing the same.

Hey, question here. I have a stock strut. You think a TRD strut bar will make any difference??

Strut tower bar makes a little difference at the limit. I think the general consensus is that your money is better spent on a rear sway bar because that makes a lot more difference than the strut tower bar.
