3rd Generation Big brake rotor? (not kit...)

hi,all...
I'm a student just from Taiwan.
I am looking for the big brake rotor for camry.
Not big brake kit,just rotor.
(Kit is too expensive... )
Is there any company selling it?
There are many big rotors in Taiwan.
But I can't find it in US.

Some of they are 302mm(for 16 inch wheel),
and some are 330mm(for 17 inch wheel).
The price is about $190~$253.

But the rotor is heavy.
I think it's a stupid idea to bring it from Taiwan.
Where can I find the big rotor in US?
Please tell me.
Thanks a lot!

Bigger rotors require different calipers and mounts.

Besides, what for? If you want better braking, get some better pads.

It does not need new caliper.
Take a look at the last picture.
There are 2 iron sticks,right?
The iron stick can connect the original caliper with the car.
So we don't need to use a new one.

The bigger rotor will provide the bigger torque.
So I think it still helpful to improve the brake power.

if you're talking about the kits pictured, they won't fit on a camry anyway. Camrys are 5x114.3 and those are 4 bolt.

there used to be a guy selling brake adapters for gen3 camrys. but that was a while ago.

they let you mount mk4 supra turbo rotors onto your camry while keeping your oe calipers and pads. but only for the v6.

and i thing he posted those pics just for visual

Rotors don't stop the car, brake pads and tires do. Bigger rotors contribute to better heat dissipation, improves brake fade. Unless you track your camry, brake fade is not an issue for a street car. Brake pads with a better bite will stop your car faster.

I track my M3 8-10 times a year with stock rotors and race pads, never have fade issues. What makes you think you need bigger rotors for a Camry?

Regarding Taiwanese metal works, I once had a hammer made in Taiwan, and punctured a hole in it against an American made nail.

bigger rotor = greater unsprung mass = slower acceleration = less gas efficient.

law of physics.

But at the end, it's your car, do whatever you want with it. I apologize for wasting bandwidth.
