Brake noise at low speed (click, click, click)

Hi folks,

Got a Camry v6 1994, need some help with my brake probs
At low speed e,g under 25 KMP/H i can hear this click, click, click noise when i apply the brake, BUT when i driving above 25 KMP/H do the same thing apply the brake there is no noise.
So i am just wondering is there something wrong with my brake???

clicking i have no idea when i heard rubbin i just changed the brakes and walla noise gone, how long ago did u replace them

could me a loose pad mabey or could be a warped rotor hittin the pad, and you cant hear it at higherspeeds? mabey? you getting any vibrations in the pedal while brakeing, try applying more pressure while breakeing and see what happens

No i don't get any vibrations in the pedal while braking.
Just at low speed i can hear the noise BUT at high speed when i apply the brake i wouldn't hear it!!!

Anyway will ask a mate to check out for me tomorrow thanks

Sounds like your front pads are worn and need replace. Pull a tire and see if they're worn out. The pads have indicators that will do that.

How did your rotors look? They should look smooth and near-new, no chips etc. Feel the rotor, if it has a wear ridge on the outside edge that could possibly be a cause. Inspect both sides of the rotor too.

Sorry for bring this up, but any follow up (probably not)...
I have the same problem in my Gen3, and I am quit sure it's not the brake problem.
I am thinking the lower ball joint... but not sure...

OP,
If the clicking sounds sort of like something engaging and releasing, it may be the ABS.

i think it the axle. check if the boot is rip if it is then you need to replace it

Try remove the plastic hub caps and test drive. My mom has a broken clip on one of em, lots of 'click click click'.
