Are fitzmall.com invoice prices accurate?

I was searching fitzmall.com for 2007 Camry LE and I thought their prices were pretty good.
But when I compared their factory invoice to edmunds invoice, fitzmall's factory invoice was $500 over edmunds
eg: http://www.fitzmall.com/carfind/resu...007&mk_code=TO

Delivered Internet Price: $22,192

Delivered Value Price: $22,561

Factory Invoice: $21,792

MSRP: $24,279

FACTORY INSTALLED OPTIONS AW - ALUMINUM ALLOY WHEELS CF1 - CARPET/CARGO MAT SET DK - OWNERS PORTFOLIO EJ - AM/FM/CD CHANGER/MP3/BLUETOOTH FE - 50 STATE EMISSION REQUIREMENT SR - PWR TILT/SLIDE MOONROOF VS - VEH STABILIY/TRACTION CONTROL

Edmunds.com MSRP $24,266
Edmunds Invoice $21,392

The only thing edmunds didnt have on its options list was DK - OWNERS PORTFOLIO

I'm just looking for people's opinion on this. If anyone has bought through fitzmall before can you please shed some light on this discrepancy.
Thanks

Dealer Invoice has the regional Toyota advertising fee (TDA) added into the manufacturers invoice, anywhere from $350-550 depending on your region. It is included in MSRP price.

If you read the disclaimer on Edmunds it will tell you that.

You can't fly/bus/train there?

It would be a hellava lot cheaper than shipping it.

A buyer from Houston is flying to Gaithersburg and driving it home to get the SE manual shift he wanted.

I was lookin on that website too, but im all the way in Omaha, NE. they said that delivered price means freight is included. Now i found the same car from my local dealer but without the traction control and that portfolio thing whatever it is. They both have the same price just about 200 bucks cheaper with my dealer but i dont get the traction control. Is this fitzmall really the cheapest outhere?
Another thing that is dicouragin me from taking that route is im goin to have to buy it, and i dont think i can just take the car to my local dealer if it needs to get fixed. I wanted a lease which i can do with my dealer. If i buy it its value will depreciate and at the end of my term im gonna be wasting money. with a lease i can just take it back.

Is traction control very important?

What should i do people? I also was thinking about gettin a v6 cuz of the horsepower but that means ill have to settle for an LE, i really like the fog lights on the SE and everything from the Steering Wheel to the seats. LE v6 or SE I4?

Why not? Toyota warranty means you can take it to any Toyota dealer for service. I bought at Fitzgerald, and will be taking mine to either Koons in McLean, VA or Miller in Manassas (and Warrenton when it opens next year).

FitzMall really isn't all that cheaper. I got my 2002 Camry at FitzMall last February and I will admit they are extremely good and do have rock bottom prices. But when it came time for me to get my 07 Camry this month, FitzMall didn't seem to want to help me all too much which is very out of character. I ended up getting a near fully-loaded 07 Camry SE from Carmax Toyota in Maryland for only about $40 more than what I wanted from FitzMall and I don't think the Camry from Fitz had all the features that my Camry from Carmax has.

I'd rather pay for shipping the car than drive 4-5 hours

Wireless thankx for that info, i didnt know that.

LunarMist how much did you pay for your SE, thats exactly the features i found on the one that im plannin to buy except that the one at my local dealer doesnt have the traction control, i got it down to 23,200. Fitz has the same one as yours for 23,580 so thats a plus that i get the traction control. Im not sure if yours is a v6 but the ones im lookin at are 4 cylinders.
Lunar if you dont mind me askin what is your monthly payment on your car. Thankx.

Do you guys know if someone can do a lease with Fitz or is it just buy. it seems like its just buy because it will be kind of hard to return the car after my term is over, but i just wanna make sure.

My car was a few hundred less than the one you are quoting from Fitz and my car came with the following options:
  • 17" alloy wheels
  • ABS w/ VSC & Traction Control
  • Dark Charcoal Interior
  • Keyless Entry
  • 50 State Emissions
  • JBL Premium 6 Disc In-Dash CD Changer/MP3/Bluetooth with 8 Speakers
  • 440 Watt speakers
  • Satellite Radio (I haven't setup my satellite)
  • Rear Spoiler
  • Moonroof Package w/ Dual Illuminated Visor Vanity Mirrors and Rear Personal Reading Lights
  • Carpet/Trunk Mat Set
  • Preferred Owner's Portfolio
I wont disclose my monthly payments but it is slightly higher but its not bad for someone my age and with my credit history. I am going to refinance in a few months to get a better rate but my current rate is actually quite good.

You can lease it from Ftizmall and turn it in to any Toyota dealer, anywhere. PM me for my sales guy's name and contact info.

Service at Fitzmall

Fitzmall offers great prices, and the buying experience is relatively painless by US car-buying standards. BUT, watch out for service issues. Most dealers make most of their profit (approx 85%) on service. I took my new vehicle in to Fitzmall to deal with a bad interior smell. I suspected a clogged AC condensate drain line. Fitzmall diagnosed a clogged intake filter and wanted to replace it for $150. Turns out I had both a clogged AC drain and six inches of rainwater in the spare tire wheel well. Then they broke a trim piece when they worked on the water infiltration issue in the trunk, etc. There is no substitute for eternal vigilance, sorry to say. Now we get our Toyotas serviced by a stand alone sole proprietor.
