4th Generation cars getting painted soon....question about mesh

yup this weekend my friend and i started working on his car....we fix and broken fiberglass took the ricer stickers off and fix any dents the car had so next week he is going to paint his car( 00 solara)...he will paint it Saturday and Sunday he will start with mine doing the same things we did to his (broken fiberglass...dents ect..) now my question is should i put chrome mesh or black mesh????

right now i have window screen on my kit (gay i know) but i don't want to paint the aluminum mesh because when little rocks hit it the paint chips off and i don't wanna be painting it all the time...so as of now I'm leaning towards the chrome mesh grill but if i find a plastic or rubber black mesh i will put that....who can help me out???

here are a few pics for comparison....

^chrome aluminum mesh

^painted aluminum mesh

i like the black look but i dont want to use window screening again or painted aluminum mesh

also what are the advantages of stainless steal mesh and aluminum mesh??

thanks!!

Black for sure. I had silver orignally when i got my kit, but soon changed it to "black alloy" mesh, looks a hell of alot neater, and more subtle. At local stores here, we can buy Black, Red, Yellow etc aluminium mesh. Its anodized i think, and doesnt chip. Try looking for something like that.
