yeah i finished the waxing and saw the sun behind the palm tree in the side of the car and quickly snapped a few shots with the camera phone. I've got a week between graduation and my new job. I'll clay, polish, and wax and take it out somewhere to take real pictures.
Man, i love the reflections waxing gives on paint.

Hey, my car is exactly the same color as yours, but I have no idea what it is. It looks like gold, but no gold. It also looks like grey, but no exact grey. It's like greenish golden grey.

What color is it?

Antique Sage Pearl.

Funny tho...on tire rack if i choose my car color it makes it more green than ours actually are. I guess they consider SAGE to be a stronger color.

yeah, antique sage perl. Yet i see almost no green at all in the paint, but when trying to describe the color to friends its really hard, "its like greyish-golidsh-tanish-sortanot quite green"

go check out the auto detailing section here. You will get better answers there.

so far i've used meguiar's paint cleaner wax, then two weeks later i added Meguiar's pure carnuba wax. It just rained down here in southern california and it looks like my paint it still beading just fine.

and yeah, cell phone camera pictures all the way. I use a motorola v551, in good light it takes really good pictures but sucks in low light.
