You have very little mileage on your Cam. You should be able to get some decent money for it.

The MX-6 has a nice tight engine for only 170hp. It sounds nice and is pretty low. It's a nice car. The Probe GT came with better suspension and larger rims/tire combo but the MX-6 looked better.

The last gen 240SX (S-15) is nice but underpowered unless you are going to do an engine swap (SR20DET--I think that's right?). There's nothing like rear wheel drive unless it's AWD. You have more options for greater power with the 240 but it depends on where you want to go. It also depends on the year you're looking at.

As for other suggestions...it all depends on your budget, and what you want out of it?

Good luck.

Umm...you're gonna have to be a lil' bit more specific on what kind of car you're looking for and what you're going to use it for. But,it looks like you want a compact sports coupe.

An integra. endless mods. decent power. well within your 8k.
Nissan 240SX. probably S14 chassis. ditto.
Previous gen. DSM Eclipse (probably GS-T or GSX AWD) if you like DSM...
Celica, MR2. stick with toyota.

the SR20DET is the Nissan equivalent to the Toyota 3s-gte...
they're both turbo 2 liter I-4 engines...

oh, and if you're really on a budget, the KA24 has GREAT potential when turboed...

good luck...

the sr20det will defanatly involve a lot less problems then a 3sgte in a 3rd gen, its a pretty much staight bolt it, and if you not to worried about the looks you can always pick up a about 89 fastback 240 and do the swap, probably car and motor/trans/swap everything will run you right at 5 grand ,
nice

i dont know about the little hatchbacks but our 240s never came with sr20det, only the 24kad if you know what that is i belive they have them as a base engine in silvias over there, why not well i guess because it was to expansive to make it pass us imissions, along with the skyline and many other cool cars.

damn you lucky aussies.. us here in Canada didn't get SR20DET's on our nissans 240sx(sylvias), Neither did we get the GTI-R. closest thing we got was the SR20DE i think.. non turbo 140hp on Sentra SE-R's.
