Camry & Solara LoungeDiscussion area for every generation of Toyota's family car, the Toyota Camry. Lexus ES250/300 owners welcome! Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance and more.
I've read in a couple of places, on this forum, that some people consider the Camry to be for the 40 and up crowd. I've created a poll to see what age-group people of this forum fall into. Why you ask? It's just for grins
I think most of the people here with the gen 4.5 and down are in the young category cause the cars are cheap now. The brand new ones will probably still be in the older crowd.

Gen 3.5 here and i'm 21....got it as a graduation from h.s. present...it was just transportation at the time but then I found TN and started doing some cosmetic enhancements.

The age group will depend whether you are talking about NEW or USED Camrys. I think NEW Camry owners will be much older (35+). On this forum, there will be a lot of younger, but previous gens Camry owners. It's unlikely a 16 year old will buy a fully loaded XLE V6 or a Hybrid, IMHO.
Also, this poll will inevitablely be biased, as I think young owners will frequent these forum a lot more than 40+ or 50+ owners.
And about how old are you? If you don't mind me asking.
I'm currently 26 and bought my 07 LE V6 a couple of weeks ago. Last January, I bought my new 05 XLE I4 when I was 24. I bought my 2001 Grand Am GT and 2003 Ford Explorer new as well (at 21 and 23 years old)...maybe that would bring the average age down for new car buyers
i have a 96 xle and im 17 atm got it when i was 16 but then it was passed down from my dad who had it brand new when it came out for a short time then my 2 older sisters.
