When you put window defrost during winter it automatically comes on, wich means the Toyota dealers are just deliberately breaking A/C systems to rob people off.

i dont think its that sutpid of a question, sure it might seem like that to people that know cars more but to some one just strating out and tring to figure sometihng out its not stupid at all.
It won't hurt it. Also, you should run your A/C at least 10 minutes a month, even in winter. The lubricant for the A/C system is in the refrigerant. Running the A/C keeps the A/C components lubricated.
no it wont, cause on like our sequioia the a/c turns on automatically to defrost the windows so yeah.
wtf?

Always got something else in mind...
If you live in a humid area, your should run the heated defrost periodically to dry out the evap coil. It will prevent that musty smell when the A/C is turned on.
water... i found in winter after hockey (5 blokes sweating alot) i could barely demist the windscreen... had to drive with window down a slight bit...
another thing is basically mositure in the cab... wet towels hot steaming food etc... each weekend if i had the chance i'd leave all windows down to try and "dry" out the car... try it might help the prob...
