Exclamation Power Window Hell

My passenger side front power window does not like to work correctly. Sometimes goes down fine.... sometimes is very slow.. Sometimes wont go up at all..... If I let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, it acts as if it has recharged itself and works just fine. I was thinking it was either a Power window motor, or that regulator that is in there... Anyone ever encountered this problem ? Please Help!!

What year?

Could just be a bad contact. Mine was doing this also, never had a problem going down but sometimes wouldn't go back up unless I hit the bottom of the armrest with my fist while holding the switch up with my other hand, that was annoying and very dangerous.

On the Gen4 you can pop the console cover where the window switches are, and cleanup the contacts of your switches, it might solve the problem or not, but next time you have trouble, try hitting underneath the console a couple times, if it catches up : Dirty/rusted switch contacts.

A good cleanup solved this problem for me, you might want to have a look into that even if your windows come down sloooowwwwwly sometimes. You can still get regulators on ebay if yours is broken.
