remote trunk release help

i currently have a rs3200 dealer/factory installed on my 2001. i want to add a remote trunk release, but the only part number i could find was 08190-33830, and that seems to be discontinued from toyota.

does anyone know if there is another part number? or if anyone else has added an aftermarket remote trunk release, what brand did you use and where did you get it from? does it work well? i've seen some on ebay, but not sure on their quality.

I have seen after market release kits --some are stronger than others. No big trick to install . I am still thinking about it Try a google search

All you really need is a solenoid, some mounting, and wiring. It shouldn't be difficult to install. I've gotten myself out of the trunk before even though my car doesn't have the escape handle inside.

i tried ordering that already and everywhere says that toyota discontinued it and they can't order it..
