3rd Generation catalytic converter

ok, i searched it, found nothing, how do i take off the catalytic converter of my 94 because i dont have emissions down here in florida. i just want to clear it out so it can flow straight through.

Take an acetylene torch to it. Then use a mig welder to put a test pipe in its place.

You will gain almost nothing from doing this. You may actually lose low end power if there's not enough back pressure. The only thing you will be doing is fouling up the environment. Hell I don't even condone turbo cars that put in test pipes, even if they do manage to gain 10whp from it and a few hundred RPM of boost. This is one of the most retarded and inconsiderate "mods" anyone can do. Have you ever driven behind a car running without a catalytic converter? It makes you feel like shit from all the crap that gets spewed out.

thanks for the advice, i had a friend who did it on his civic and he said it helped but i just was wondering about it. since it would lower anything i dont think ill do it.

dont remove your car i did it and it destryoed my gas mileage and also it messes up the ammount of back pressure the car has it relies on backpressure to run right it was more sluggish after i removed my cat
