Gen5 Need Help With Tires For 19" wheels

I have 19x8 wheels with a 38mm offset. I went to order tires from tirerack and they called me saying that the tires i ordered they could not sell them to me becuase they cannot support the gross axle weight of the car. I ordered Kumho 225/35/YR19. They told me they wont support the gross axle weight and it is to dangerous to sell them to me for liability purposes. How do some people put 20s on their camry's and don't have a problem? Alot of people on these forums are saying how they want 19s. Are we all going to have the same problems here or what? Is any of this crap true? Should i try a different tire size. I think if i get any bigger it will rub becuase my car is lowered on teins already. They told me thats why they dont list 19s on their website becuase they dont reccommend you go that big becuase it is dangerous. PLEASE HELP ME!

well what I think it is that you are running too small of a tire on that kind of rim. Your rim is 19X8 so the tire has to be 235/35/19 or 245/35/19. If your rim was 19X7.5 your tire would be 215/35/19 or 225/35/19. That what i think.

I'm using 19X8 and my tire is KUMHO 235/35/19, still can fit 245/40/19. Want to check out my car? Go to this thread http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t138531.html
