4th Generation Racing Ground Wire Kit???

I came across this on e-bay but how does this work and what would it do performance wise for my engine/car? I have a 1999 Camry LE 4cyl with a few mods. Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT It says quicker throttle response, stabilizes engine, & 5-8 hp gain? Is this true? Thanks.

I would say almost none of it is true.. you may see a more steady idle I suppose. Its not a bad thing to do but look at the price, you get what you pay for dude.. I would sudjest just buying your own wire and hooking it up.. there are write up on it how to do it, search for big 3

You want to do something called Big 3 - you can search this forum and find many threads, here is a genreic one

I was going to do this sometime this summer if I had some time to kill. I was going to buy the cable, the connectors and a nice junction box to give several grounding points from here

I think with how 'digital' the gen 5.5 is, there is a long term advantage to have a smother current on the electrical system. Not sure how true that really is, but for the cost it can't hurt. I don't really expect any more HP out of it like some claim, but a smoother idle would certainly be worth it

I used cab-tire wire in 4x4 gauge size, disected it for the green ones for my car. An alternative is to get welding cable. 1 gauge, to 00 gauge size.
