Hi everyone,
I really wanted to buy a 07 Camry SE V6 w/ leather but it seems to be out of my price range. I was aiming to spend around 25,500 max, V6 is a must for me. I found out a week ago that a dealership in my area can install leather seats on a LE V6 for around $1300. I was wondering if you guys had any experience in comparing the quality of the leather seats in a Camry when it is dealership-installed versus factory installed. Would appreciate any input. Thanks!

It's all just really vinyl. My dealer quoted me $1000 when I was pricing upgrading a pre-owned Camry. The aftermarket leather/vinyl seats that I've seen look the same as factory.

lilminwoo, i have yet to see any camry with leather seats and i have looked at many...all i know is that they are made with leather on the part you sit on and the outer parts of the seat stiched on are pretty much always vinyl. So these seats are actually leather/vinyl and not "leather" so they should really call it that.
I even priced leather seat for my Camry (cause my wive has leather seats on her 01 Solara and they're nice). And they want like $1000 per pair. So im sticking with the cloth ones. Until the next car maybe. I guess you could always find leather Solara seats and bolt them in.

We got leather put in our 07 Se. Vinyl, leather, whatever, we like it better. I guess it's just a matter of opinion, but the door panels look better too. Good luck!
