I've always wanted to do that with my Gen 5. I wanted to paint it like the 4-cyl SE

I'd stay far far from interior painting.

oh $ resell.... if its done tastefully or conservatively it may add value

hmm WHITE door pillars would contrast against the glass BLACK would look better and yeah it may wear off. example: think about how often you grab for your seat belts, thats right on the pillar. start simple if you really wanna paint something try painting the surround trim on the stereo & HVAC controlss or your guage bezel or trim surround.

WOW man!

dont DIY paint, ask a pro to do it for you.

I know a shop in Sydney asked them and (i'm planning to change the gray interior colour to full on black with black leather seats) they quoted $1,500aud. sounds much but it will look very nice and so much better than me spray painting it lol

i agree fully, DIY paint will never look even as close to a pro. DIY paint is noticable and usually people notice it and laugh at your horrible house paint interior.
