Platinum Extended Warranty

Hi there. I bought my '07 Camry LE V6 tonight! Woohoo! I also ended up getting the "Platinum" Toyota Extra Care 7yr/100,000 mile extended warranty, and I'm wondering who else has gotten a Toyota extended warranty, and how much you paid (and for what term). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also got the Toyota Care Platinum service agreement with a $0 deductible that expires 12/28/08 or at 100,000 miles, which will happen long before December of 2008. According to my dealer paperwork, the warranty cost me $285.

I got the 6yr/100K plan. Minus a few things. (You can ala-cart it) I got Rust, Fabric, Gap, Credit Life, Job Loss, Rental, I can't remember the rest for $600.00.

Geico offers a Mechanical breakdown insurance for new cars, it is about $ 5/ month it provides up to 100k miles or 7 years with a $250 deductible and it is basically bumper-bumper exept maintenance and tear and wear.

reviving an old thread -- I was wondering if I have a gasket problem or the mechanics actually start seeing a problem with one of the gaskets is that under warranty work?

I got the platinum extended warranty -- 7 year 100k -- this november is my 7th year. I bought this car 2 years ago too =/ but I know the warranty is from the year it's made.
