Intake Question???

Hi Everyone. Who makes intakes for a 1996 camry. and also how can you till which kind of engine you have. do i have the 5 version. i have a 96 camry dx 4 cylinder. thanks for your time. www.cardomain.com/id/camrytypes1996

well, if you have the 4 cylinder, then your engine code is 5s-fe.
there are a few places where you can get intakes.

try CTMotorsports. The owner is soundlzrd here at ToyotaNation.

Weapon R Intake

something you should know about intakes. there are cold air intakes and plain intakes. the differences:

cold air intake:
-more performance, colder air compresses better
-filter located down near bumper

standard intake:
-filter located in engine bay
-can lose performance due to hot engine bay air

the weapon r is not a cold air intake. im not sure if there are any cold air systems available for the 5sfe, but if you do happen to find one, or make one, the differences are worth the money. speaking from experience, only cold air intakes really let you feel a difference (at low and high rpms).
