so yeah...i was driving along @ around 110km/h (speed limit is 100 km/h) minding my own business thinking about where to take my women for dinner...
there was barely any cars on the road during that time of night, fairly open road... then two morons, one integra and another car which i didn't have time to see what car is it... just blows by me on this 3 lane road... Meanwhile in their little "game", the car on the right didn't see a truck is coming in from a merging lane on far right side (blind corner), so the car on the right just flings himself right towards of me causing me to slam on my brakes, locked all my tires (my ABS light is on) spun out like twice (somehow i felt like it was a figure 8) before I could regain control.
Then after I got my mind back into one piece. I started driving again going to pick up my women. This is when I start to feel and hear some noise coming from the wheels. So I thought it was just messed up alignment from that "accident", therefore I went to get an alignment. Nope, didn't help. Then today when I dropped off my women, I saw that my front left tire had a patch of almost-like-chunking-peeling spot on it.
My other guess is my spun out caused me to have my wheel bearing to be wacked out of place.
Now, my question is, would any of the guess above be the source of the noise?
I will post a picture of the patch on the tire this weekend.
Thanks guys

well i cant really help but itts weird cause i was in a car accident today, im okay but im in alot of pain. ill post pics later if you guys are interested. but hope you find a answer!
Probably just have a flat spot on your tire(s) from the skidding as ABS can't handle sideways slides. No way to balance that, you'll just have to replace the tire(s). Hope that's all it is although that's certainly bad enough.
I'm just thinking it's the tires due to his description and the fact my '93 got pushed sideways down the highway by a semi at 70MPH, slammed into a concrete barrier, spun around, rear ended, and spun 180 before I got it stopped and the bearings were fine. Doesn't sound like he went thru something that bad. (In fact the tires didn't seem too bad either altho I couldn't drive too fast due to fender rub.) And yes, the car was totaled. But I drove it the rest of that day.
(How did it happen? Entered a highway with a f(tr)ucker in the left and 3 lanes. I moved to the center, and was passing by him when he attempted to do a no signal lane change and tagged my rear fender twice. Got straightened after the first one but the second T-boned me and then what do you do? Got a GREAT look at his grill !)
its safe to drive it to the tireshop and buy 2 new tires! if you don't have enough money go buy 2 used tires, but those tires with chunks missing are not safe at all! Since the tread is already that far down it isn't too hard for the rest of the tread to start peeling!
its not safe dude. you dont want another accident like that with spotted tires, there is now less grip, they are out of balance and shape. ugly on wet roads too. Not worth the risk.

Yeah, like everyone else has been saying, it's most likely the tires, maybe from the flat spot, maybe from some related separation. Either case, it sucks but you'll probably have to pay out your own pocket for new tires. I doubt you could convince insurance to pay for them for you. Just consider yourself lucky that you have good enough reaction time and you're not part of your car right now.
