I wanted to know who is interested in this hood ??? I'm talking to a Supplier of body kits here in Cali. and his charging me $1,800. Basically, I'm paying for the mold, hood and labor. I'm trying to make some of money back. How much would you pay for this custom hood ( I know I aint charging $1,800) here's a pic...
I would probably pay 450$ for that type of hood if its just ok quality but if its C/F i might think 100$ more. Its alot of money for the R&D but will they be able to go that low??
I believe he forgot the mention that it's for a gen3 camry unless he's making multiple molds.

Well, I'm going to try to sell these hoods for $600 to $700... How much would you like to see this hood go for... And please realize that the stock looking carbon fiber hood is $450 to $500 ... So, thats the reason why I'm think of this price...

Im interested in any sort of aftermarket hood for the Gen3 Camry. Of course, since its a f***in winter wonderland here, probably will be no good to me until Spring. But definitely interested. It sucks that MB Autosport discontinued the CF hoods they made for the Gen3's.

latez.
The guy I'm going thru is the one supplying the hoods to MB motorsports. But, the vents come with a fiber glass cover underneath, for those rainy days.
600 - 700 US is kind of steep. I know you are trying to cover your costs but maybe you should try to do it with volume and lower prices rather than a few orders of such high prices.

If im able to get back into having cash i will get a CF hood and many other suff. But if i build myself a Gen3 3s-gte i will get that hood for sure it should reduce engine heat and probably help the turbo out.
