That is a great find indeed. I have seen 2 2000 LE V6 manuals for sale in the Bay Area and they were asking much more than 7000. If i remember correctly 1 was about 8500 with 70000 miles and the other was like 11000 with about 50000 miles. Just explain to your parents that its a really good deal and its in perfect condition. You can probably sell your car for about 2000-3000 and then you only need to pay an extra 4000-5000 and you get a car that will last you a lot longer than your current one.
a 2000 Camry v6 Stick LE.... it only has 50,000 miles and the paint and body and interior are in pristine condition.
Black with tan leather
now the problem. convincing my parents to let me sell my 92 camry auto le with cloth seats 187000 miles.
and let me buy the 2000 camry
its been on the lot 3 days and they want $7000
In 3 months I bet I could get it for 6000
Any suggestions on getting my parents to let me do this.
i bought my 99 fully loaded lara v6SE stick shift for $7200 with 113k miles two years ago.
i was in the similar situation where i have a 93 camry stick shift that i want to sell and wanted get the 99 solara, i still admit i was a little imulsive, but now i ended owning both vehicle, both still running great. i was lucky, both vehicle has no major repair, i just change timing belt, engine oil, spark plugs, and they just keep running. the v6 stick shift does have strong pulling than v6 auto or i4 stick, but still no compare to those real sport cars.

Check out edmunds.com, kbb.com and autos.msn.com to make sure it's a good price. Even used car prices are negotiable. See how much you can get for yours. It's a big step. Jon.
a camry like that won't be on the lot for very long, if you want it, like everyone says, now is the time to buy it. I missed out on two camry's because they sold faster than i could get to the lot
Yeah anyway my parents arent going to let me get it so heres the link if anyone is interested, when I talked to the salesman he was wrong about the mileage, and the price online is set higher. But the condition is excellent and the paint is as flawess as a non show car can be.
Heres the link
