Starter Contacts, where to buy them

I found this place that sells the starter contacts cheap for someone that is fixing their starter/

Starter contacts, alternator parts?

Sorry tercel, didnt mean to step on your toes with that one -

BTW i havent seen any posts on rebuilding the alternator (Toyota calls them "generator" in the service manual for some reason). Has anyone done this? And where did you get the bearings and brushes, and how to change the bearings?

I have that DIY in the same place, hardcore tech, ultimate stickies. No problem, just thought I'd point out the set costs you .90 more at the other place. I rebuild that stuff for a living so I can get most any parts pretty cheap. Rear bearings are a common size in most our alternators but the front can be any of about 12 sizes.

12? Now i think i know why no one rebuilds their own alternators. Because you also need a press to get them bearings in or out.
