Please help with my suspension !!

Hi, this is ACV30...just registered and also first time posting a thread... kinda nervous

Well, I have a 2002 Camry LE...

I used to have Tein S.tech lowering springs on my car...

I love the front lowering amount...it was about 1.7 inch drop...

However, the rear was only 1.5 inch drop, well some people say that this makes the car look

sporty...

But I didn't like the way the rear looked...

(But the springs themselves are very good!! and front look, very nice!!)

I had been using tein about 1 and half years....and yesterday I changed the springs...

These are Sprint lowering springs...

Well, you might realize that I already made a mistake....

1.8 inch dropping for the front and rear was too much on the stock shocks.....

The front is OK....the springs are compressed (Tein 1.7 and Spring 1.8 are about the same)

The problem is the rear...since the springs are way shorter than the one I used to have..

I couldn't even compress the rear springs...yeah..it's dangerous, because the springs are

not compressed at all and actually they are moving on the shocks....

Even though it was installed, the mechanic said if I go over some kinda pot

holes or something at high speed, the spring might get off from its position...terrible...

I already tried to find good after market coilovers and struts...

Coilovers are more than $1500!! I am not able to afford it, even if I agree that they're

worth..

The other way I thought is replacing the shocks...

But the only after market shocks I found is KYB GR-2....other company shocks are for

different year models...

So, I don't know what I should do...

1. Is it really worth getting KYB shocks for lowering springs??

2. Are the KYB shocks going to compress and well match with my Sprint springs??

3. If not, are the KYB shocks going to be well matched with Tein ??

4. Should I just go back to the Tein springs with stock shocks like I used to be ??

Some people say like Sprint springs suck!! They recommend Tein...I agree...

But I prefer the Sprint springs look, especially for rear...

Any suggestions? advice please ??

Its kinda weird that you say that... since with Teins, the rear wheels almost tuck into the fender, and the fronts still have a larger fender gap than the rears.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Here is two pictures of my car...

Don't just click it, won't work, i dont know why...by clicking it, it just drives you to a Korean car website, where I put my pictures on..

Anyways...please copy and paste it...

Well, the front is about the same as tein...

This car doesn't have rear seats, its all taken off and the trunk is totally empty...

But since the rear is very lowered, even if the rear is light, the tire is tuck into the fender..

Actually, the rear tire is slightly under the fender...

Right now..with tein springs, there is more than 1 inch gap between the fender and the tire...

I don't take people in my car, its totally for my own..

I tried to make it lighter and keep the rear lowered...actually this is why I changed the

springs..

But even with rear seats on, unlike white3ch0c0late said, the rear wheels didn't tuck into the

fender tho...

This is what my car looked like, before I changed the springs and with the rear seats on...

The tire size is 215/45/17, and even thought its really hard to see the tire, there is still

some gap between the fender and the wheel...

I usually empty the trunk....is that why ??

or...simply, should I just put the tein springs and change the shocks to KYB ??

and put some weight on the rear ??

Basically what I like to know is ...

Is the KYB shocks going to be compressing the sprint springs ??

If the problem with Sprint springs can be solved by replacing the shocks, I will...

But if the Sprints suck no matter what type of shocks I use...

I will just put the Tein springs back on the stock shocks, like I used to be...

See thats strange. Because I'm on Teins, and my rear tires tuck into the fender just a tiny tiny bit, which is what I wanted.

I'm sorry this is a little off topic, but i think i remember reading something that S-tech springs only work for gen5 and not for gen5.5 because the suspension was a little different? I'm not sure if i'm right or not thats why i'm asking the question if anyone knows anything about this please post thanks in advance.
