3rd Generation 5spd to 5spd swap

Has anyone done a write-up or a parts list for this swap? The s51 to e153 I have searched with little luck. I am getting luis turbo kit and upgrading it and apparently my i4 manual just doesn't have the balls. Any help with this?

how much power are you looking for? The S51 should hold up to at least 250HP. If you don't plan on pushing too much power i would leave it as is seeing as the E153 is very hard to find.

Wink

Well luis said his kit will be able to get to 300whp with major upgrades so that is what i am shooting for it may take me an extra year over the time i get it installed in the first place so i will have time to look for an e153 in the meantime. Untill the swap i will keep it below 250 with boost control anyway. Just looking to the future.

luis is gonna need to have some kind of warranty saying that the kit will blow ur engine if done incorrectly, otherwise many uneducated camry boosters are gonna have tarp cars.

yeah but it doesn't matter, i know how to build engines safely to power. The trick is always building them past what you plan on running to give you some breathing room.

So anyone know about the trans?
