3rd Generation I have to change my wire harness and ECM

I have a faulty ECM and I am looking to change it soon. I know that there are a number of different ECMs for the Gen3 so I wanted to get some advise on what to look for.
My car is a:
1994, 4 door, manual transmission (stick), 5sfe, with 2 O2 sensors (before and after CAT).

Since the ECM only really deals with the engine all the other options should be irrelavant.

I dont think the transmission type matters but i wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything when going to look for it. Im basically going to remove the harness with all its relays and take the ECM that it comes with.

Anyone care to give some advise/warnings?

On the old 1986 Supras the transmission type mattered, I'd assume it would here too.

Remove your existing ECU and look for a part number on it.

Then look for a ECU that has the same part number.

^ The part number in the ECU above is: 89661-32231

I went out this morning looking for the right ECM for my camry. Everyone I pulled was different. Then I talked to someone and they told me that the ECM for cars with manual transmission is different than that of automatic transmissions. I have a 5-speed. Something to do with RPM control when shifting and stuff like that. So now Im stuck because 5 speed camrys are kinda rare. My harness is f*cked due to shorts in various places. I feared my ECM was screwed too but I think i better check it out with a multimeter to be sure. Since it looks like I wont be getting one from any salvage yards around here. I am also in the process of upgrading my engine harness.
