3rd Generation Paint Exterior Door Trim

Yo as my car is going in next week for install and paint i was wondering if anyone has painted their trim black. Right now I have the chrome trim and i think it would look better black since i have white rims.

Let me know what ya think

hmm, i say go for it. It's on my list of things to get done as well. i already got my back window chrome redone in black, but the front window and my sides are still needing to be done. Let me know which route you go to get it done. I remember ufoz telling me that one of the coupe trim level options offered black exterior trim, but i haven't looked into it yet.

let us know how it goes!

it just covers the chrome haha... i dont know why they called it that. but yeah it basically looked like electrical tape only wider and more dull (no shine to it)

Im pretty sure ratcko painted the trim on his couple black once back in the day...

Is there anyway way shown in the manual to pry it off or something? At that point you could just strip it and paint it. Thats what i am trying to figure out how to do.

Your current paint job looks good. What are your reasons for getting a new paint job? And from where and what cost?

I would do it. I saw a pic of an Eclipse that they paint the trim on and it gave the car a completley different look. I say go for it.
