Opinion: Adding another camry to the family

Ok guys my mom is looking for some opinions... we are looking at a 95 camry le sedan (white just like mine ) with 75000 miles on it at our local hyundai dealer. The mileage is low but the exterior is pretty trashed, paint is really dull and rough, its got some rust spots developing pretty bad by the rear fenders and a couple small ones on the roof. The tires seem good but are mismatched. The front bumper has some bad scuffs on it and you can see the yellow of the urethane coming through.

as for the motor, it looks like the valve cover gasket is shot along with the oil pressure switch. im sure the radiator is on the way out as i just had mine replaced and mine is a 94. interior is pretty clean, not too bad... anyway the dealer wants like 5000 but i know it isnt worth that much at all. I havent driven it because we got there after the dealer was closed. the struts seem like they may be on the way out as well.

what do you guys think this is worth? its the 5sfe if i didnt mention that, so i know how to maintain it and what common problems are... basically my little bro is heading to college this fall and needs a car to get him through a couple years before he can buy a subaru impreza rs (we keep finding them and they sell before we can get there) he just needs something in the mean time.

carfax is clean despite the dents and scrapes it has, im guessing an old lady owned it. its trashed outside for the miles on it, mine has double and looks tons better. blue book on it is 3600 but i find it hard to believe it is worth that much... thoughts on what we should try to talk them down to?

If i really wanted this car for some reason, i'd take blue book value, get an estimate of what these parts to fix it to where it is reasonably driveable will cost, and subtract it from the price. And show it to the dealer and if he wont work with you, i'd take a hike. And just like women, there's plenty of used cars in the world, aren't there.

the thing is we just need something quick that would be somewhat reliable for him to use for a couple years... i guess mom felt better with a car pretty much the same as mine because i know my way around it
