I just went out an bought a 1990 Camry I4 5 spd. (had a Ford Tempo 3spd auto, sh**box) To be honest, and I'm a bit embarrased, we were looking for the most part at Neons, when we stumbled on a deal on the Camry. I do too much driving(to Kingston from Waterloo every weekend)and need something good on gas, and reliable. Car looked clean, 140 000km, wondering if there are any problems I should keep in the back of my mind when I am flogging it(driving nicely) to visit my girlfriend.

P.S. really worried about teaching her to drive it...oh my poor clutch!

Welcome! I'm a first rate idiot (which is worse than a second rate idiot... or is it????)!!

Congrats on your purchase and I hope we can help you out here if you have any questions. The 2nd gen Camry is solid so you don't have to worry about maintenance issues. As for teaching the GF how to drive stick, no advice there.
