Re-dying my drivers seat

I plan to redye my drivers seat this weekend. Its a 1997 camry, that came out in late 1996. For 10 year old leather seats, they are in very good shape, but time has taken a toll on the drivers seat only.

I plan to clean/condition them before redying. I've already got the dye from leatherique.
Any suggestions on what kind of brush/rag to use. I've see sponges, i've seen aryclin brushes, i've even seen cheese-cloths. Anyone have experience with these and would suggest one over the other. BTW: the dye container said, i can also use an air spraygun to respay my seats. For that i'd have to remove the seat completely. And last words of wisdom...any additional advise. I will post pre-post pics in this thread shortly.
Edit: the dye box wanted me to sand down my leather seats. sorry, that part i'm going to avoid. It just doesn't seem right to me. I'll clean them. My seats aren't cracked, but they now have creases. I just want to get rid of the creases.

TO MODS: ( i know this could be the carwash/detail section, however camry forums attracts more traffic) As soon as we have responses, i would appreciate it if you can then move this.
