Talking Little update about me

Maybe some of you remember me..I started with a '97 XLE V6 camry and after an accident in 2002 I got a '92 SE V6 5 speeds..

In 2004 I gave the Camry to Ben-RR and purchased a '99 Solara SE V6 5 speeds.. This car was meant to get no modifications at all.. to see if I was able to live like that.. That's why some may not have heard about me since a long moment..

Last week I sold the Solara.. I got back my camry.. I had to buy it from the guy who bought it from Ben-RR (It only cost me 500$ and I got a CF hood/trunk + headlamps, rare SE seats and everything needed to swap an other camry into 5 speeds)
I also put my hand on a '93 LE V6 AT Camry (Also black)

My plans for it are simple.. The goal: LAPPING.. I tried lapping with my Solara.. I had fun but I was limited by the car.. (it was stock)

That's why I'm returning to the 3rd Gen Camry!

I'm planning to finish the modifications in August and go lapping with my friends.

Here is a pict of my two camry

The one on the left is my 'new' one ('93 Camry LE V6 AT)
The one on the right it my old Camry.. wich needs inspection for too many things that it's useless to think about just fixing it. I will use this car as a part car for my other Camry.. Because it have a 5 speeds transmission/ecu/wiring plus my jdm engine (http://www.mox.ca/engine/ <-- some will remember these pics - Ben-RR never dis the turbo things on the car.. he just sold it to someone after putting the CF hood/trunk)

Sunday I'll get a '91 Turbo MR2 E153 transmission because the E53 in the old camry is having some problems.. (365000km.. I can't ask for too much )

So.. We can say that I am back And that this time there is some money backing the project.. not too much.. just enough

btw.. if anyone got a OEM Style CF Hood and wants to get a Invader Style.. let me know.. I would prefer an OEM Style.. plus, the Invader is a real VIS Racing hood!

Ok, an other update

I found a '92 LE V6 5 speeds with the Sport Edition package (stiffer power steering/suspension/sway bar)

I will receive my KYB GR-2 before the weekend and my TRD Coil Springs are ready to get installed

For the whiteline sway bar I am waiting for my bushings.. should take 6-7 weeks to get home..

I ordered red/clear tail lamps and clear bumpers to fit with the CF hood/trunk

Only missing stuff before getting on the track: brembo disks + hawk hp+ pads and 17" mags with the azenis rt-615(I should get them next week)

How much do you guys think that I can sell the ENTIRE set of parts required to swap a 3VZ auto to 5 speeds ?

I will have all that stuff in surplus.. (Ecu+wiring+pedals assembly+shifter assembly+clutch master+transmission + everything else.. I don't want the old camry to stay next to the house for too long)

I think youd have a better chance of selling it all if you split it up but i may be wrong...

they made TRD springs for the gen 3? I wasnt aware that TRD made anything for the 92-96...

I don't think so.. the parts are in a fully working car that only needs inspection(needs some useless work to make it pass the inspection) to get back on the road

I will sell the car for 1000-1500$ I think.. there is the Sport Edition Package rare optionnal seats, entire grey interior and some extra parts (window regulators, extra doors, etc..)

Yeah.. but I think the only usefull parts are the 5 speeds conversion parts and the interior..

But there is also the jdm engine I installed in 2004 with Ben-RR (http://www.mox.ca/engine/)
