What's the diff. between Kentucky-made Camrys and Japan-made Camrys?
^^^^ I just feel as if the Japan made ones are going to last longer than the ones built in Kentucky...does anyone have an reliability issues with USA made>
There has been a thread about this not too long ago. The overall concensus was that it really made no difference where the car was built.

Yeah dude, this has been discussed in numerous threads in the past couple months.
As for the differences, the main difference is the shipping hooks on the japanese vehicles that the usa-built ones don't have. The japanese ones also have some subtle differences in materials, but nothing that the average driver will notice.
The reliability thing is just an old, irrational way of thinking about Camry's. People can think what they want, but there is no difference between reliability of the japanese-built and american-built camry's. I've seen japanese camry's hit over 300k and i've seen american camry's hit over 300k, but reliability is dictated by how the owner drives/maintains the car, not where its built.

If there are two Camry's on the lot and both are identical (same model and trim level, etc). One made in Japan and the other in US. I would definitely pick the one from Japan.
